30 Seconds To Mars
Brixton
I headed to London, the day before the concert, to go to a 30 Seconds To Mars concert, but I didn’t have my ticket yet. I had to pick that one up at the box office. The only time to pick it up was when the doors opened.
The next morning I woke up early to go the the radio station BBC1 and I met up with some other echelon. We didn’t know for sure if they would be coming to do a interview, but we waited anyway. It took them hours and we almost gave up when Shannon and Tomo came. They went straight inside. After half an hour Jared came and walked very slowly, but also walked inside.
There were some cars with radios in them and the people who owned the cars let us listen to the radio. We hear the whole interview and 30 played “The Kill” and they had to choice a song. They chose “Stronger” by Kanye West. It was beautiful!! Even better as Kanye West.
After the radio show Shannon and Tomo came out. They actually took time to sign everything and take photos with us. When it was my turn to take a photo with Shannon he tried to make me laugh. He was playing with my ear, but it didn’t work. I already had the best photo
. When I had a change to take a photo with Tomo, he just had gotten a wooden spoon as a present and he held it in front of his mouth.
I didn’t get a change to go to Jared. As everyone wanted a photo with him. Shannon was taking photos of the banners people made and of the crowd. Jon took a group photo with us and than they had to leave.
We went to the venue and I picked up my ticket at the box office. It did take them a long time to find it and I thought all my feeling would come true. I couldn’t get in. After a while they found my ticket.
It was time to do some street teaming. It was a lot of fun and as a bonus we received another signing. I found out that I had a balcony ticket, so, I went upstairs and saw the concert very well. There was no one in front of me.
Jared didn’t talk as much as with the previous concerts. Which was a good thing and a bad thing. Good thing because we got more songs, bad because I missed his talking. With Jared’s solo Tomo came on as well with his violin. It was beautiful!!
After the concert we got our signing. It was good the thank the guys for the great concert and the really appreciated it. After that we went to the hostel, cause we knew the guys would go away straight after.
Pinkpop 2007
We woke up early to go to Landgraaf by train. At Pinkpop you have multiple stages. First we went to the wrong one as I didn’t know on which stage 30 Seconds To Mars would be playing. When we were on our way to go to the right stage a saw that FRS, the company I used to work for, was having a signing later that day. My former boss told me that I could stay backstage to take photos. I thanked him and went on. There were already a lot of people standing at that stage, but I managed to get me and my sister front row. I taped the whole concert, while my sister took photos.
The guys had only half an hour, which meant they could only play the best known songs like: Attack, Battle of One, From Yesterday, The Kill and Beautiful Lie. Jared made a mistake of calling Denmark our country. I guess he didn’t know that Europe were multiple countries.
He also jumped in the crowed on both sides of the stage. I had to hold on to his leg, cause people behind me were trying to pull him off the barrier. When he jumped back on stage he almost fell as it was raining that day. He ended the concert with “The Believer” which I hadn’t heard live myself yet.
After the concert we looked for 30 merchandise, but we couldn’t find anything. So, we headed over to the FRS stand.
We were waiting outside when Chris went to get them for the signing. When they arrived I took a few photos, but didn’t bother asking to sign stuff. They welcomed us, but went straight for the signing. We waited a while and the ended the signing early, cause it was out of control. Tomo and Shannon came back first. They took the time to take photos with us. This was also the day that I decided that Shannon was my favorite member. They went on to the van.
Jared came out and he took my sisters camera out of her hand, which was still attached to her neck as well. At that point I new I made the right choice choosing Shannon. Jared took a few photos with us and left. Jared was acting really weird.
Linkin park was at the same festival as well. So, we waited till they came on. They were almost last, so, waiting for it looked like it took forever.
Finally, it was time for Linkin Park. They played some old stuff and new stuff from the album “Minutes to Midnight”. I didn’t have a good view, but hearing them sign live was good enough for me. I waited for years to finally see them perform.
After Linkin Park we were dead tired and we went home. It was almost 4 am when we arrived and I was glad that I didn’t have to work the next day.
Londen Astoria
When I arrived at Astoria at 10.30 am. Tomo and Tim just came out to go get some breakfast. They took some time to sign stuff and take photos with us. Then the went for breakfast.
They came back around 1.45 pm. They probably did some sightseeing as well. Doors opened at 7 pm and I took a wrong turn and ended up on the balcony. It didn’t matter, cause I could see everything well and I had a change to record the show on my camera.
The show was amazing. I don’t know the exact setlist, but when I find it I will post it here.
After the show we stayed and the security guards were setting up a table and making a line for us to get stuff signed. The guys took there time to sign 1 item. I got lucky, cause Shannon signed the wrong item. He was suppose to sign my book, but he signed an envelope first which I used as a bookmark. He signed my book and Tomo and Jared signed both as well.
I didn’t stay after that. I was too tired and went back to the hotel. I did hear that they came out to take photos with the fans, but I was glad I got something signed.
Tivoli 2007
My sister and I went to tivoli around 12 pm. We finally arrived in Utrecht around 2 pm. There were already a few people there and we were talking to other fans when Shannon and Matt came out of the venue to do some side seeing.
After a while they came back and I took sone photos of them. They told us that they would sign stuff after the show tonight. We waited a while longer and because it was so cooled outside we were frozen when the doors finally opened.
We made it front row and the guys came out with masks. First out was Shannon, then Tomo and Matt. Jared came out last holding flowers. Which he throw in the audience. The first song was “A Beautiful Lie” and we rocked out. I had a hard time keeping my sister in front, but I managed. When the “Fantasy” came, Jared jumped on the speakers and onto the balcony. He was hanging there on the railing. Then he jumped into the crowd. With Jared’s acoustic set, he told us that he didn’t know the words to “The Mission” anymore. They also played “Attack” and ” The Kill” for us.
I don’t know the exact set list anymore, but if I find it I will upload it asap.
Santa Barbara 5-14-10
Me and Angela arrived in Santa Barbara by bus early in the morning. We walked to the meeting place of promo first. There I met up with a lot of the American echelon. It took us awhile till we finally know where to go to do out promo and we hit a few places, like the beach and some parking places. When we were done we went to the venue. There weren’t a lot of people there yet and I asked the security guard if he knew if SDC was in the venue already. He actually asked it for me, which was nice. He told me they were busy and I thanked him and walked around for a bit. A few moments had past and I saw familiar faces. A lot of the Europeans had come to this show as well. Which was kinda a reunion.
I had the I love all access VIP thing. Only because I wanted to know what it was. We got in earlier and there was some food and drinks set up for us. A few friends of mine also had the VIP thing and I was glad that I wasn’t alone there. We just hang out there. We received a goodie bad and after what felt like hours 30STM showed up. We got in line to take a photo with the guys and when it was my turn Jared said he’d just seen a video of me and I asked what video. He told me I had a Triad on my forehead and I was at one of their shows. Shannon told be to stand next to him between one sick brother and one “Good” brother. Whatever that means?? We took the photo and I walked away. When everyone was done Jared stayed behind to answer a few questions. He went up to the venue and we could go to the merch booth. There I bought my first SDC hoodie, which we didn’t have in Europe. When looking around I saw Adam and Bobby. I walked over to them and said hi. They gave me a big hug and I presented the banner I made with all the yellsquad logos on it. Bobby really liked it and even though I didn’t want to give it to them first I caved in and said they could have it. I also let them see my Dutch SDC Flag.
I wanted to talk to them longer, but it was time to go inside the venue. So, I returned to my friends and found a spot at the barrier. I put my flag on the barrier for SDC to see and Scot walked on stage and I yelled at him. When he saw me he waved and saw the flag. I guess Tyler was in a bad mood, cause he didn’t look excited at all. He stayed in the background the whole time too. I finally met Justin and said that next time he had to come to Europe as well. Hopefully he does come. Adam came on stage to check everything and because it was still light out I took some great photos of the guys.
Finally the show started with “Victory”. As I knew it I started drumming along with them. The people around me thought I was crazy and I heard one of them say that I was more excited to see SDC then 30STM. Which was totally true!! As usually I sang along with the songs. Bobby even went over to me and sang into my eyes. I loved every moment of it. When the played “I Miss You” I was in heaven again. I really love that song. When the song ended I was waiting for “The Little Ones”, but Adam was gone. Frank left soon after and I just knew that the show was over. I couldn’t believe that because 30STM was late SDC had to shorten their setlist. I guess SDC was mad too, cause they didn’t stick around after doing “Vox Populi”. Which in my opinion is better when SDC joins in live then without.
When Mutemath came on I was kinda pissed at the fact that they did get to play their whole setlist. At least this time the drummer didn’t try to stand in the audience with his drum.
When 30STM came on I was still pissed and I made a deal with my friends that I wouldn’t watch Shannon the whole time and it was strange how easy that was to ignore him. I just rocked out with Jared and Tomo. The setlist hadn’t changed a bit since Europe. When “Closer To The Edge” was about to play. Jared took a really long time to explain to us that this was for a video. It even shorten the setlist more.
After the show we waited for them to come out and Tomo came out to apologize to the promo team for not keeping his word. He was very sorry and he would find a way to make it up to us. When he went inside again we saw Shannon and he came over to us. I really wanted to keep my promise of ignoring him and I tried my hardest to get away from him. I didn’t here a word he said though. He walked off and we went down the hill.

Berlin 3-17-10
We arrived at the venue really early in the morning and we were the first ones there. When there were a lot of people we were being moved to another entrance. It got to a point that I couldn’t stand the pain I was feeling of my twisted ankle. That I had to leave the queue. My ankle got twisted the day before by doing promo in the gutter
.
When the doors finally opened I got in just in time to see SDC start performing. The setlist was almost the same, but we got 1 new song. When I heard that song I was sold. It was called “I Miss You”. I actually tweeted the guys right after it. And they liked my tweet.
When the next band came on I gave them a shot. Their name is Carpark North (CPN). When they started playing I immediately knew I didn’t like them, but was convinced I would like them after awhile. Only I didn’t. It felt like torture and they ripped of a lot of the melodies from artists and bands I do like. So, I stopped listening to them in the hope they were gonna be gone quickly.
When it was 30STM time, CPN had totally drained all my energy from me and I really couldn’t enjoy 30stm that much anymore. Didn’t know a band could drain me so much. The seltlist was the same again and that didn’t help either. So, I stayed in the back with my friends till it was finished.
After the show, I went to SDC and they were happy to see me again. I had to wait for them, but I got kicked out by security. I guess SDC couldn’t get me to stay in the venue anymore and I knew than that something bad happened in Russia. I really don’t know what, but everything changed in Berlin. So, Elise and I just went to our hotel.

Vienna 3-19-10
We arrived in Vienna early in the morning. We were the first ones there and we didn’t know where the entrance was. I guess we circled the venue about 4 or 5 times till we finally found the entrance to the car park. When we got out of the car park we were right in front of the tour bus. Leave it up to me to have a radar for the tour bus
. To find the entrance to the venue was a hard thing to do to. When we finally found it we sad down there for awhile. Also I twisted my ankle and I couldn’t walk very far anymore. Elise went to get some food and see if there was a place where you could get some tape to wrap my ankle in. She found something and I wrapped it around my ankle.
When the doors had to open we were moved back and I got staked a few times by the barrierwhich the security guards put in front of us. The doors finally opened and we went inside. I managed to get barrier and I held a spot for Elise. When she came I squeezed her in and we all were good and ready for the show.
SDC was first again and we had so much fun with them. As the setlist was the same again with the song “I Miss You” added I could sing along with the songs again. I actually managed to get the people around me to jump and dance with me. I think the guys saw that, but I can’t be sure.
When CPN came on I again felt all my energy drained. I have to say it again!! I don’t like CPN. Even the people around me talked among themselves and it was easier to shut out the songs this night. It was also over remotely quick, because we weren’t listening.
Finally 30STM time. Because our energy was drained by CPN it took me awhile to get into it. But when SDC came on stage during “Vox Populi” I was totally into the music again. I loved the fact that Jared did “Alibi” again during his acoustic set. I wasn’t counting on it, but he did play it.
After the gig I helped out SDC again, but we didn’t stay long after. I was too tired and we just went back to the hotel.

St. Louis 5-04-2010
Our hotel was right next to the venue. We got there in the morning, but didn’t stay long, cause I was hungry and needed to get something. When I got back there were still the same amount of people queuing that I decided to look for the tour bus. I knew it was parked at the back side. When Angela, Elise and me got there we saw Shannon riding a bike with Bob. He didn’t say anything. So, we waited awhile. Then there was this blue van coming up and I saw Jared inside. He waved at me and I didn’t see Tomo in time, cause he waved at me too. When they got in the venue I saw Tim walking and I dragged Angela with me, cause I knew Elise would follow me. We talked to Tim for a bit and when he went up, I saw Braxton. I didn’t know for sure it was him, cause he had cut his hair. I hugged him and talked to him till he had to put his stuff inside the venue and we just left.
Back in the queue Anna had held my spot in front. We also got early access to the venue, but because of the VIP thing the barrier was already full. Than I saw Elise who got the VIP thing and she was holding a spot for me on the barrier. So, I got to the barrier.
First up was Neon Trees. I didn’t know this band, but when they started playing I thought I knew it. Only to find out that I didn’t know it. The songs were pretty good. Then it was time for Mute Math. I always liked there music and I was so glad I could finally see them play live. They play my favorite song “Chaos”. Also they played “Spotlight” and “Typical”, which are the songs I like too. I didn’t expect them to be so entertaining live, because the songs are a bit more into the pop style, but I really enjoyed them. I would love to see them play live again.
30STM time. I was so glad to see the guys live again and it was my first 30STM concert in the States. The setlist started out the same as in Europe, but after “Night of the Hunter” it changed. We got “Attack” before “Vox Populi” and “Search & Destroy” Before “This is War”. Even the acoustic set was different. We got almost all Self Titled in acoustic versions. Even “Buddha for Mary” Jared played acoustic. When he played “Oblivion” Jared skipped a few lines during the song and stopped right after that. Also with “Echelon” he didn’t finish the song. Jared said he was gonna film “Closer to the Edge” for the video and I was so excited that I finally got a change to be in a 30STM music video. But I really doubt they filmed me, cause I was on Shannon’s side again. Because everything took so long we only got snippets after that, but we got “Buddha for Mary” and “Capricorn” twice in this concert. The guys even played a snippet of “Fallen”. When it was “Kings & Queens” time. Jared told me I couldn’t get on stage as I already been on stage with them before. Which was actually something I thought was crazy, because that was back in Europe and not in the US.
Anyway, after the show I didn’t stay long. I was so tired and I needed something to drink. So, I went back to the hotel.

We went to the venue early on. It was the same venue as in 2008. A few of our friends were already there and holding our spot. The tour bus was behind the venue and I went there to see if I saw anybody walking there. It wasn’t long before I saw Bobby walking. I yelled to him, but I guess he didn’t hear it. I went back to the queue and we ordered pizza. Which was actually brought to the queue. Then doors opened and because of Michael I got barrier.
We were really excited to hear SDC play. It was Michael’s first concert in Europe and I already made him crazy before we went to the show. It was time. SDC came on and we started to rock out. As the previous days the setlist was the same including the song “I Miss You”. I was in a crazy mood and I did the same thing Adam always does when he drums. When he jumped I did too at the same moment. Because I had seen them so many times before I knew exactly what he was going to do.
Okay, CPN time. As usual I didn’t enjoy it, but Michael liked it. It was weird and I told him that he is crazy if he liked it and I basically forbid him to enjoy it. But he didn’t listen to me. That Elise told me that the songs were actually sticking in her head, because she had seen them too many times too. I thought I was in the twilight zone.
Eventually 30STM came on and everything was back to normal. Normal meaning we all liked the songs
. The beginning of the setlist was the same as the previous days. The acoustic part was different. Jared started out on keyboard with “Hurricane”. Than he played “Alibi” on keyboard as well. Than he decided to play another song and the acoustic guitar came on stage and he played “Revenge”. The rest of the setlist was kinda the same as the previous days.
After the show we all met up at the merch booth. Also there was SDC signing posters. I saw Brian handing them out and I asked him if I should help him. Also I asked if Frank was around and he didin’t know. He said if I continued handing out posters he would search for him. When he came back he said he couldn’t find Frank, which was a shame. Michael wanted to get autographs from SDC and he was hanging all over me. Which was a good thing. When Adam saw me he said “Happy Birthday”. I told him it was tomorrow and he didn’t care at all. After we had to leave I went outside to the tour bus area, but we didn’t see anyone come out and we went away. Later we heard that Shannon and Jared had come out.

Hamburg 3-08-2010
We arrived in Hamburg by train. We walked for what seemed like hours till we finally got to the venue. When we were looking for the entrance I stared a snowball fight by saying we show have a snowball fight and they started to throw some. The tour bus was right behind us and Scott and Tyler came out of the bus and I asked them to join us. They didn’t have time and we just went on. When we finally got to the entrance there weren’t a lot of people waiting and some friends held our spot. But when it was almost time to open doors the security guards again refused to open our gate and we had to get to the other one fast. I was too late to get barrier, but I did manage to get Angel in as well, so we could party together in the second row.
When SDC came on, me and Angel we singing along with the songs and making the people around us crazy with all our moving around and jumping. We were the only ones actually enjoying SDC. The rest of them were just stuck up fan girls, only there to see Jared. As they didn’t move at all and were just standing there. The setlist of SDC hadn’t changed. I couldn’t see much as the person in front of me was taller.
It was time for 30STM. I knew the setlist was gonna be the same again and me and Angel started singing even before the songs started. Till the acoustic part everything was the same. I finally heard “Revenge” again. I just love that song. Than it was time for “Closer To The Edge”, which I still love the part that Tim played guitar instead of bass. I was glad that they played both “Buddha For Mary” and “The Fantasy”. With “Kings & Queens” Jared picked the fan girls which didn’t move the whole time and I got front row for the last song.
After the show I went to the tour bus and some guy came up to me and asked me if I would like to sing “Happy Birthday” for Shannon. Of course I didn’t doubt at all and said I had presents for him too. We were waiting for him to come, but instead there was this security guard who said we had to leave. We went behind the line and when that same guy cleared it with the security guard I was picked again to sing for Shannon. While we were waiting we saw Adam and Tim on the balcony and they were provoking us to be louder that the people behind the line. Eventually Shannon came outside and we started singing for him. He thanked us and put his stuff in the tour bus and after a few moments he came out again. I gave him his presents and he opened them in front of us. He thanked me for the presents and than it was time to leave. He did go to the people in line for a bit, but he was gone before we knew it.
We waited for the others to come out. I guess we waited for a few hours, but they never came out. When I was frozen to the core I went away and some friends gave me a ride to the airport where I stayed till I could go to Copenhagen for Shannon’s real Birthday Party.

Lille 3-04-2010
When we got to Lille it was very early in the morning and I couldn’t find the venue. I was driving around and I just couldn’t find a road that let up to the venue. Then a friend told us that the venue was 2 stories up and I finally found a parking garage. We went up to the venue and saw there was almost nobody there. I wen to go to sleep for a bit first and when I woke up I went shopping. I didn’t care about what my friends would say. I just didn’t feel like standing in a queue at that venue.
When I heard there was gonna be a signing I went to the store where it was being held. Only to find out that there was a queue longer than the queue at the venue. So, I just went back again and started to hand out some SDC posters Adam had given me to hand out. I was out almost instantly and had to get more.
When it was about time for the doors to open the security guards said the people from the signing could go in first. I was so pissed off about that, that I didn’t really enjoy the show that much. When we finally got to the doors we went up the balcony to see if there was a place there where we could at least see something.
When SDC came on we just rocked out, cause we weren’t mad at them and they deserved to be rocked out with. The setlist was the same as the previous shows, but I really din’t care. It was something good to get your mind off of things.
That is was 30STM time. I didn’t feel the energy to go crazy anymore. I actually felt dead inside at this concert till Jared said that “From Yesterday” was dedicated to the Echelon. I felt like he was trying to make it up to us, but it wasn’t enough for me. The started to play “Fallen” for a bit, but than stopped. Later on I found out it was because they didn’t know how to play it anymore. When they played “Capricorn” full band I thought they really made it up to us. With “Kings & Queens” I tried to get on stage, but running from balcony to the door was a little too far.
After the show I could hang out with SDC for a while again and I finally managed to buy a cd of SDC, because Adams girlfriend brought them from Los Angeles. I also saw them at there tour bus and Adam actually came to me to talk for a bit more. It was really cool of him to do so. When they went away, I went to my car and we went to Paris.

Helsinki 3-12-2010
I arrived in Helsinki by boat and we went to the hotel first. This was a hotel I have stayed before and I knew the venue was a walk away from us. First we started to get ready. Ater a while we went up to the venue to start with our promotion. We wanted to add the triad in the snow in color, but it was not to be. So, we just did it with our feet.
After that we went to the city to do promotion there and there was this signing in a mall there as well. We went to the signing to promote and eventually we queued in the line as well. When we were getting close to the guys I saw Tomo wasn’t there, but Jared did see me in the line and he started staring at is during the signing. When it was finally our turn. I asked Shannon if he liked his Birthday gift and he said he did and Jared had to get in the conversation as well. It was so funny that I didn’t give any attention to Jared, but he was asking for it. After we had to leave, we went back to the venue.
I was suppose to be on the guest list, but Adam made a mistake and he sent Brian to get me inside. I walked with him into the venue and he went in the back. I was sad I missed SDC play. I asked the security guard if I could sit on the bench and she let me. After they changed shifts I went to the stage area where I saw Eddy. He saw me too and walked over to me to apologize. I asked him if I could stand in the section where I could dance around and he said yes and made sure to every security guard that it was okay.
When 30STM came on I was rocking out and jumping up and down the whole time. Also Sonia was there to film the concert and she came to me from time to time to rock out together. The setlist was pretty much the same as the previous days. When it was time for “Kings & Queens” Jared asked who wanted to be on stage and I asked the guy who was standing there if I could go too and he said yes. On stage I went to Tomo’s side and a little in the back and I saw Adam and he said he was sorry too.
After the show I helped SDC out again with the posters and Adam said I needed to wait at the tour bus when we were done and I went there with a few friends. It took awhile for them to get out, but eventually they came out. Adam started to talk to a few people at the door. I was still talking to my friends when I heard Adam say that he’s gonna go and talk to Lois for a bit and he came over to me. He started to apologize again. We talked a bit more and then he said he was going out. When he was gone we went away as well.

Stockholm 3-10-2010
Because my plane arrived late in Stockholm I got to my hotel very late. I just put my suitcase in my room and went to the venue straight after. This time I didn’t need to queue, cause I was on the guest list. This was a deal I made with Adam of SDC. He said if I would come to Scandinavia I would be put on the guest list and I took the deal. So, I was waiting for the guest list to arrive and I was about to text Adam that they wouldn’t let me in when this guy came up and made sure I got in.
Inside I was just in time to see SDC. I went to the side of the venue, cause it was impossible to get in the middle or to the other side of the venue. As usual SDC did a great show, but it was the first time I was alone without any friends to party with and it felt strange to jump and dance like the previous days. So, I just stood at the side lines. When CPN came on I thought I would give then a chance, but they still sucked. I was waiting for 30STM to come on and saw Bob walking by. I asked him if he could take Shannons last present to him and he said he will take it to him.
30STM came on and the setlist was exactly the same. I sang along with all the songs as usual and there was this security guard who came up to me asking if I wanted to be on stage, cause I knew all the song. I said I would love to, but when I got to the other side of the barrier, they already had enough people on stage. I got back to my spot and just went on singing.
After the gig I helped SDC again with handing out posters and when I was done I talked to them for a bit. Back at the tour bus Tim was having a smoke and I asked him if he could sign my wristband and he just talked to me for a while till other fans started to find the artist entrance and he said he had to go. Then SDC came out and went straight to their tour bus. After a few seconds the security finally did there job and asked us to move to the street. I know Jared came out as well, but I didn’t bother going to him.

I arrived in Copenhagen pretty late and because I had a lot of trouble going to Denmark I didn’t feel like waiting in a queue. My friends said that they saw SDC leave and they hadn’t come back yet. I went for a walk to look around and found the artist entrance immediately. When I was standing there for a bit I saw Tomo walking from tour bus to venue and I didn’t bother him, cause I saw he wasn’t up for meeting fans at that moment. I stayed behind and saw every other person go to him. He went in the venue straight away to get away.
I got hungry and went with a friend to a pizza place and we ate there. We had a lot of fun warming up, cause it was really cold there. It was the first time I wished I had a jacket instead of a hoodie. We finally were warmed up and went back to the venue. My friend went back in line and I went to the gate again to see if I could see anyone. A few moments later I saw Adam going to the tour bus and he saw me. Hugged me and we talked for a bit. Then the doors almost opened and he had to leave.
I didn’t go inside straight away. I wanted to wait till the line was gone, but it took them a long time to get everyone in. So, I just went in myself and inside there was still room at the barrier. I went there, which was on Tomo’s side and I could see Shannon perfectly. I also had made a banner saying “Happy Birthday Shannon” and this got in the venue without a problem.
SDC was first this time and I still had a lot of room to dance around. I moved closer to Shannon when I was dancing. The setlist was the same though. I thought it never changed and I was hoping for the to play “We Are Machines”. When they finished there was a local band who played next, called Car Park North, but they sucked big time. I felt the energy I had from SDC flow straight out me with rapid speed. I was so glad it was over.
Finally it was 30STM time. I held the banner up the whole time and Shannon did see it. The setlist till the acoustic part was the same as the last days. With the acoustic set Jared played “Revenge” and “The Believer”. Before the started to play “The Kill” Jared said it was Shannon’s Birthday today and that we all should sing a Birthday song for him. The crowd sang it in Danish and I didn’t know the words. There was a cake for Shannon and when he had it in his hands I saw Tomo running away. I kinda knew Shannon would be a little kid when he got the cake and he throw it in the audience. When it was time for people to be called on stage Jared came over to my side and he told me I was already on stage before. After saying it a few times he allowed me on stage and I went straight to Shannon’s side. When he saw the banner he looked at it and pointed at it with his drumstick. I held the banner up the whole time and sang as loud as I could.
After the show I helped SDC giving out posters. I got my hugs from the guys and went outside in the freezing cold again. 30STM didn’t come out, but SDC had to come out, because their tour bus was parked outside the gate. Only they didn’t want to talk either. So, after a while I just went to the airport to go to Sweden.

Milan 3-22-2010
We arrived in Milan when the doors were already open. I had to go to the box office to get my ticket. When I got there I gave them my name and I received my ticket and there was a little surprise in it too. Eddy tour manager from SDC had given me backstage passes, because it was my Birthday. I went inside with my friends who were waiting for me and we went to the photo booth where we took a picture with us all. Jean even made me a banner.
Inside we gotten backstage and talked to Brian for a bit. We went further and saw Shannon. I talked to him for a bit, but I could see he wasn’t himself. I actually thought for a bit that he disliked me. So, I just went back to my friends. There I was just in time for SDC.
When SDC came on we jumped and danced, but we didn’t have much room. So, we went to the back and we had all the room we needed to go crazy. We were actually jumping like little kids. It was so much fun. The setlist of SDC was the same as the previous days. I still love the add of “I Miss You”. It’s a really great song.
When CPN came on I looked for a spot to see 30STM really well and we found a spot on the balcony. When we were standing there I saw Eddy walking and I yelled at him to thank him. When he came over I thanked him properly and he ask me if I was surprised. I really was and I couldn’t thank him enough.
When 30STM came on I had room to move and dance around. It was good to see the show from the side for a change. The setlist was pretty much the same. I did see a lot of stuff you don’t see from the front. Mostly stuff in the back. I was so stoked when I heard “L490” and than Jared acoustic part. When they played “The Fantasy” I heard a part of Nine Inch Nails “Closer” and it felt like I was back in London in 2008 again. It was a great feeling. Than Jared went crazy for a bit, but eventually he played “Kings and Queens”.
When the show was over I went to the back area. We waited till the guys finally came for the meet and greet. When they came to the door the guys recognized us, but they went to the “Fangirls” first. Shannon was the first to come to us. He didn’t stay long. He did take a photo with me and signed my faces of mars cover.
Jared was the second to come to us and we talked to him for a bit and when he found out it was my Birthday he hugged me and sang “Happy Birthday” for me. Also he took a photo with me and signed my cover. He actually recognized that I was on the cover and he started talking about his idea to buy your own cover online. Which I totally like. That way people don’t have to search all stores for there own face. After that he had to leave.
Tomo came to us right after Jared had left. He actually stayed the longest. We asked him why they didn’t play “Stranger InA Strange Land’ and he told us that every time the played the song the audience look like the photo below. We asked him if we changed that and promise him that we will make everyone rock out if he’d play the song for us. He said if we can make the crowd rock out from beginning to end he might consider playing it, cause he’s the one in charge of the setlist and Jared is the one who actually decide on the spot if they play the song or not. He wanted to leave after a while, but when he heard it was my Birthday he started to sing “Happy Birthday” to me and my friends joined him. He also took a photo with me and signed my cover. Also he saw it was me on the cover and thought it was cool that I found it. I said to him that Nikki found it for me. Then he actually had to leave.
After that I was trying to find SDC to thank them, but I couldn’t see them anywhere and I had to go to my car before the parking garage closed. I don’t know if the guys came out afterwards.

Amsterdam 3-02-2010
When I got to Amsterdam it was really early. My friends have been sleeping at the venue. I wasn’t up for it and it didn’t matter in the end, cause I was still the one who arrived after them. At first it was really cold and we were freezing our butts off. I had to move around a lot to not get frozen. When I was standing at the site with a few other echelon Jared walked of the bus and wanted to get inside the venue. Only the door was locked and you had to ring the bell. He didn’t know that and started to walk off to the other side of the venue. Where the queue was. I told him if he rang the bell he would be buzzed in and he went back to the door. Got in and I went back to the queue.
Doors opened and I got to the barrier on Tomo’s side. It’s the first time we had Lost Alone as a support act for 30STM in the Netherlands and I had a blast. The thing about Dutch shows is that people don’t push that much and we had room to dance at the barrier.
When SDC came on stage I was so stoked that I had a great view of Adam. I actually made a few very good photos. They did have the same setlist as the previous days, but it was great to see the whole crowd was into SDC as well.
When 30STM came on there was this energy in the venue that was crazy. I think it’s the first time in the Netherlands I actually thought the whole crowed went wild, but I could’ve been wrong. Again Jared did only one song in his acoustic part, but we did get “Buddha for Mary” and “The Fantasy”.
After the show I went to the merch booth to buy some stuff with my sister and I was searching for SDC, but they didn’t come out at all. Outside we went straight to the bus, but somehow the guys of SDC didn’t want to hang out. Tomo and Shannon did come out and took time again for us to take photos and sign stuff. When they went to the tour bus and almost everyone was gone we went to the car. On our way the guys came out again to go to a club or something. We didn’t bother anymore and just went to the car.

Brussels 3-01-2010
We arrived in Brussels a bit late in the morning. When I searched for a parking space I saw the tour bus and parked near it. I saw people walking from bus to venue, but I couldn’t see who it was, cause we were a bit too far away. After a while of sitting in the car and charging me phone, we went out to the venue. There are friends were waiting in front and they were holding our spots.
We it was almost time for doors to open the security guard told us that our gate wouldn’t open en they didn’t care if we had to go to the back. If we didn’t go to the back they wouldn’t allow us in the venue. So, we went to the tour bus in hope to get it fixed, but nobody was there. I just went back to the front and I only got in when there was no line.
When we got inside we stood somewhere in the middle of the venue. We had a pretty nice view for the support acts. Lost Alone was actually rocking out. They had the same setlist as the previous shows. For the first time this set seemed shorter, but it really wasn’t.
When SDC come on we all started jumping and dancing. We sang like crazy and the people around us were bitching about it, but we really didn’t care and started to sing louder. Which was kinda childish, but at that time we were feeling like kids. Also with SDC the setlist was the same as the previous shows.
When 30STM came on we didn’t have as much room as we had anymore. Everyone had gotten closer to each other. When Jared ask us to step 3 big steps closer, I was crushed and it was getting very hot. When Jared ask to make a mosh pit we managed to get closer to the stage, but it was getting hotter and I couldn’t stand the warmth. That’s why I had to get out and I went to the upper level. Where I could see everything and finally enjoy the show.
I couldn’t remember anything before I went to the upper level, because I was too busy not to faint. So, my memory of this show starts with “This is War”. Also because Shannon was coming up and I wanted to see him play that song. I just love to see him play the guitar. Jared acoustic part was on the balcony on the other side of the venue. He did only one song there and lots of talking about the Paris show. He was giving away 1000 tickets for the show and I guess the show wasn’t getting sold. The rest of the show was great as I finally got up to the balcony as well and I could see the whole stage clearly. I have taken some great photos from this show.
After the gig we went straight to the tour bus. There was no security and it was easy to get to the back. There we didn’t wait long as I saw Tomo walking out. Nobody else saw him and when he came close I just said hey. He said hi back and said he had to put his stuff in the bus and he would come straight out. In the meantime Shannon came out as well and also went to the bus. When they both came out they took time to take photos with us. In the meantime Tim was out and he also took his time to take photos with us. When they had to get back in the bus we waited for the other guys to come out. After a while SDC came out and we hang out with them for a while and we took photos. When we were still with SDC Jared came out and I didn’t even noticed it till Adam said “What going on there?” and I responded “Jared must have come out” and we both went on talking with the rest of the people standing there. When they all went inside the tour bus we went to the car.

I arrived at the venue a bit later in the morning. We didn’t know where to go, but eventually we found the entrence. It was inside a building. We had food and drinks nearby and even a bathroom across of the venue. It was actually queuing for kings and queens. Michael and Amanda were already in front for us holding our spot. Amanda and I went around the venue to see were the artist entrance was, but we got send away. I wasn’t about to loose my change to see 30STM in Glasgow, cause that’s what they said if we would come to the back again.
When the doors opened we all got barrier at Shannon’s side. Some people tried to get in front of us, but we manage to stay front row. We actually rocked out with Lost Alone. When SDC came on we moved a bit more to Tomo’s side. SDC had the same setlist, but still we had a lot of fun with them.
When 30STM came on we moved in front of Jared. The crowd was crazy, but we managed to stay in place. I think Jared saw us during the show, cause he pointed at us to get on stage during “Kings & Queens”. On stage I was near Shannon. He saw me on stage and waved at me. When Jared started the song, I was singing my lungs out.
After the gig I was looking for SDC, but it was hard to find them. When I finally found them, we were being rushed out again. They did sign my setlist though. We tried to get to the back, but it was not possible. So, we decided to go to the hotel instead.

We arrived at the venue early in the morning. The venue was in the middle of nowhere which made it kinda hard to get food and drinks. We had to walk for about 15 minutes to get to the first coffee stand. I waited at the venue for awhile, but I had to leave for promotion early. We did the promo in the center of the city.
At the promo we actually convinced several people to come to the show, but we had to get back to the venue. It was already getting late and the doors were about to open. When I came back people were giving me a hard time for getting back in the queue. So, I decided to stay with my friend Donna. The security said we could go in first, but when the doors finally opened people were just running and we barely got run over. I made sure we both got barrier.
The first support act was very boring. I didn’t enjoy it at all, but then it was SDC’s turn. SDC did put on a great show, but the sound at the venue sucked. Half of the time we couldn’t even hear Bobby sing and I was praying that the sound with 30STM would be okay.
When 30STM finally came on the sound was okay. The setlist was the same though. I was glad to have both “Buddha for Mary” and “The Fantasy” though.
After the gig I went to look for SDC, which were somewhere in the back. It took me awhile to get to them. When I finally reached them Adam gave me a big hug. When I was waiting for a photo with him, Tim came up and went to Adam. Said something to him and went away quickly. I didn’t even have time to say hello. When I finally got my photo with Adam I tried Bobby, but we were being rushed out of the venue.
Outside, we waited for a while and Shannon came out. He took his time this time to take photos and sign stuff. When I got near him I could smell strawberries. Didn’t think anything of it and he went back inside. We almost went away when Tomo came out. Also he took his time for us. When I was near him, I smelled strawberries again. I took my photo with Tomo and when he went inside I went back to the hotel.
